On February 22nd, 48 students from Westbrook Dance Academy performed at halftime during the UCONN Women’s Basketball game in front of a sold-out crowd at Gampel Pavilion.

The students, ages 6-18, performed a high energy routine that was well received by those in attendance.

Under the direction of Julie Reed-Russo, the participating students represented the towns of Westbrook, Clinton, Old Saybrook, Madison, Deep River, Essex, Killingworth, and Guilford.

UCONN is one of many performance opportunities that Westbrook Dance Academy offers to its students. Others are Walt Disney World, Six Flags, as well as several local events.

Westbrook Dance Academy offers programs for all ages Beginner to Advanced, Recreational and Competition for all ability levels and ALL ages in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Acrobatics, Musical Theater, and Technique Workshops.
