| On June 26-29, 2012 18 students from Westbrook Dance Academy performed at Walt Disney World. In the Parade at Magic Kingdom, the students performed "Ease On Down The Road" down Main Street USA through Liberty Square and into Frontierland. The following day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the students took to the stage for a 10 minute performance at the Premiere Theatre. The trip culminated in a Gala at EPCOT complete with a dance party and confetti drop with Disney Characters. The participating students, under the direction of Julie Reed-Russo, were as follows: Brandi A., Zoie M., Haley W., Stephanie S., Maddie A., Holly S., Merilee S., Kali R., Morgan C., Juliana M., and Victoria H. of Westbrook. Mara K.of Old Saybrook. Kaylene K., Claire P., Alex K., Miles W. and SarahGrace D. of Clinton. Samantha D. of East Lyme. The studio and students were invited to perform and participate again in 2013. |
| Congratulations to our 2011-2012 Competition Team!! Our team members recently participated in Take Center Stage Dance Challenge in Mystic Connecticut July 20-22, 2012. They received many overall awards, titles and special awards throughout the weekend. It was the final competition of a very successful season. See competition results page for more details. |
