| Westbrook Dance Academy General Information Our Spring Performance This is for students attending Westbrook Dance Academy, LLC. This is a fabulous way to end the season. It will showcase what our students have learned throughout the year. The performance will include exciting music, costumes, and choreography. Your friends and family will be so proud of the children as you see them glow up on the stage. School Year Students will be taking classes September through June. The studio will be closed for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Memorial Day. Vacation weeks will be posted in the studio as well as in a notice. Weather Cancellations The studio will be closed due to inclement weather. Please watch WTNH 8 and NBC 30 for closings. Classes will be made up during the school year. Costumes Costumes will be billed at the beginning of the season and are due in full by December 15th. Dress Code Male Dancers- Solid white t-shirt; black pants; appropriate shoes Female Dancers- Any style solid black leotard; pink tights for ballet Tan tights for jazz and tap; warm ups may be worn at the discretion of the instructor; black skirt may be worn in ballet; black wrap sweater may be worn; appropriate shoes. Hair must be in a bun and off of the face. Note: No swim wear, crop tops, thong leotards, biketards, leotards with attached skirts allowed. Tuition Tuition is divided into 10 monthly installments A 5% discount is allowed if tuition for the season is paid in full by October 15th. Westbrook Dance Academy accepts cash or check Reminders Students should arrive on time and dressed in the proper dance attire for all classes. Students should not arrive more than 15 minutes before class or be picked up later than 15 minutes after class. Westbrook Dance Academy, LLC is not responsible for any student who leaves the building before, after or between classes; please instruct your child to remain inside the building. Names should be clearly marked in all dance shoes and other equipment. Westbrook Dance Academy, LLC is not responsible for personal belongings. No food, gum, candy or drinks (except bottled water) is allowed in the dance room. Westbrook Dance Academy, LLC reserves the right to make schedule changes or cancellations if necessary. If your child is not going to make class due to illness, please call the studio to let us know. |
