|Julie Reed-Russo (Owner, Director, Teacher, Choreographer)
Julie Reed-Russo has been dancing since the age of three and teaching for
the past thirteen years. She has trained with Sandee Juliano,
Sharon DiCrosta, Frank Hatchett, Bob Rizzo, Savion Glover,
Germaine Salsberg, Janice Barringer, Bryan Lewis and Jay
Fagan just to name a few. She has performed regionally and
across the country for fundraisers, commercials, industrials,
and competitions. She has done performances in Las Vegas,
New York and Epcot Center in Walt Disney World. She has been
involved with many organizations such as Relay For Life,
Muscular Dystrophy, Toys For Tots, and Breast Cancer Awareness.
Julie has held several dance titles including National Miss Dance
Educators Of America 2001. She is a Qualified Member of
Dance Educators Of America, Inc. and National Association
Of Dance And The Affiliated Arts and is certified by examination
(level I and II) in the Dance Educators Of America
Teacher Training and Certification Programs. She has taught for
NADAA and many schools around Connecticut and
Massachusetts. In addition, she has judged dance competitions.
Her choreography has been recognized, garnering many awards.
Her students have performed all over the country
in ballets,competitions, musicals, industrials, benefits and
have won many overall awards, titles, pageants and

Casey Krane knew her passion was Irish step dancing at the age of five after seeing
Riverdance on PBS. She pursued her dream of becoming an Irish step dancer with
the Kathleen Mulkerin School of Irish Dance in West Haven, and has been dancing
for over 15 years. Casey had the opportunity at the age of twelve to perform live
with world renowned fiddle player, Natalie MacMaster, twice in Connecticut. She
also was a member of the Emerald Dancers, an elite group of Kathleen Mulkerin
dancers who performed in Ireland for two weeks. Besides her many
performances, Casey also enjoys competing and has two National Champion titles
from the NAIDF organization, in 2010 and 2011. With these titles she qualified for
the World Championships in Germany but was unable to attend due to her college
studies at the University of Connecticut. Casey has been teaching and assisting for
over five years. As a recent graduate from UConn, she plans on obtaining her
TCRG. (Irish Dance Teacher Certification) While teaching at Westbrook Dance
Academy, she plans on spreading her love of Irish Dancing and music to her
students in her hometown of Westbrook..
Sharyn Farrell, of Clinton, Connecticut, has been teaching Ballroom and Swing
Dance for over 12 years. She received formal ballroom training at the studios of
Steps in Time, Gotta Dance, Let's Dance in Rhythm, and with an array of top
Master Instructors. She has also performed throughout New England.
Ms. Farrell has trained extensively in the foundations of dance by taking classes
ballet, tap, jazz, modern dance, and more. Ballroom and swing dance are now her
teaching specialty where she inspires fun and the building of strong relationships
through the unique dynamics of partner dance. Her approach is personalized,
clear, and fun..

Danielle has been dancing since the age of two. She has trained with Frank
Hatchett, Sheila Barker, and John Burris. She has continued to take classes
at Broadway Dance Center, Steps, and has attended many dance
conventions. She has done performances for the Boston Celtics, Norwich
Navigators, Seusical The Musical, Beauty And The Beast, talent shows,
dance competitions, recitals, and has been an extra in a few movies.
Danielle has also taught for the Westbrook Park And Recreation
Department. During her competition career, Danielle was nominated for the
Dance Spirit Award and has won many scholarships and has placed in
many dance titles.
