Julie Reed-Russo (Owner, Director, Teacher, Choreographer)

Julie Reed-Russo has been dancing since the age of three and teaching for
the past twelve years. She has trained with Sandee Juliano,
Sharon DiCrosta, Frank Hatchett, Bob Rizzo, Savion Glover,
Germaine Salsberg, Janice Barringer, Bryan Lewis and Jay
Fagan just to name a few. She has performed regionally and
across the country for fundraisers, commercials, industrials,
and competitions. She has done performances in Las Vegas,
New York and Epcot Center in Walt Disney World. She has been
involved with many organizations such as Relay For Life,
Muscular Dystrophy, Toys For Tots, and Breast Cancer Awareness.  
Julie has held several dance titles including National Miss Dance
Educators Of America 2001. She is a Qualified Member of
Dance Educators Of America, Inc. and National Association
Of Dance And The Affiliated Arts and is certified by examination
(level I and II) in the Dance Educators Of America
Teacher Training and Certification Programs. She has taught for
NADAA and many schools around Connecticut and
Massachusetts. Julie has also judged for dance competitions. Her students
have performed all over the country
in ballets,competitions, musicals, industrials and benefits and
have won many overall awards, titles, pageants and
scholarships.
Marqui' Martinez
(Hip Hop Instructor)

Marqui' grew up dancing in the San Francisco, Bay Area of California since the
age of 3. She studied at Mission Dance & Performing Arts for 15 years and taught
Hip Hop, Jazz and Lyrical there for 6 years. Marqui' loves teaching all ages and
has taught all over the San Francisco, Bay Area including at NorCal Dance Arts.
She has choreographed for high schools and colleges around the area including
Santa Clara University. Her numbers have competed in many competitions such as
Move Productions National Dance Competition, Starbound National Talent
Competition and Spotlight Dance Cup. Marqui's large group character number and
large group Hip Hop number both made it to finals and placed first overall in
their division at this past Spotlight Dance Cup Nationals 2011 in Los Angeles,
California. At this national competition she received a teacher and choreography
award titled "The Total Package Award". Living in the Bay Area has given her the
opportunity to train and perform with highly respected dance companies such as
Phoenix Dance Company, For The Cause Hip Hop Crew and assistant directing
for Feel Projection Hip Hop Company. She is sponsored by Summer Time Friends
clothing company. Recently moving to Connecticut, Marqui' plans to stay on the
same driven path to continue her success as a Dancer and Instructor.
Deb Cook
(Zumba Instructor)

Hi, I'm Deb Cook and I love being a Zumba instructor! There is nothing better than
seeing your class leave with a big smile! I am licensed to teach Zumba Basics 1 &
2, Zumbatomic (kids) Zumba Gold, Zumba toning and Aqua Zumba. I am a
certified AFAA Group fitness instructor and have current CPR/AED and First Aid
training through the American Red Cross. I also have my own personal, group
fitness insurance coverage. Zumba is exercise in disguise- each class feels more like
a party than a workout so come join me for an exciting, fun & effective class! No
dance experience is necessary, the steps are simple and easy to learn so just follow
my lead, but most of all, have fun!! What are you waiting for?!?!- Ditch the
